Taking photos of your little one can be very exciting and intensely challenging at the exact same time. This is exactly why a lot of photographers do not wish to specialize in newborn photography. They just don't have the forbearance to pull this through.

Regardless of how great the hurdles may be , most mums and dads would still like to have tons of photos of their dear little baby just to be well placed to hold on to something that they can value for the rest of their lives.

I am certain you know the sensation.

As this job can be quite daunting, these are some baby photography ideas that will help you come up with some very stunning baby stills and set you before your competition:

  • Use furniture or other home items as a backdrop. If you would like to come up with something unique and extremely personal, you can incorporate common home goods and furniture into the shot. One helpful tip? Use common household items to show how small the baby really is.??
  • Capture true emotions. Capturing family interactions and feelings on film can give such wonderful results.
  • Go clean and classic. One of the most often used newborn photography style is the clean and classic look. With this, the baby is photographed naked or swathed in blanket and propped in a beanbag, a basket or a wooden tray big enough to accommodate the baby. Taking the shoot out in outside, if weather permits, can create a fascinating twist in your pictures.
  • Shoot intense close ups. Getting up close to show all those extraordinary details can make for a good shot.
  • Take footage of mom and baby while breastfeeding. If the elders are ok with this, you can capture wonderful moments in film while mom breastfeeds her newborn. Listen to me, this shot will be worth its weight in gold for an entire life.

So , what do you actually think of these baby photography ideas? Of course you are free to come up with your very own ideas but these poses might be enough to get you started. Just let your inventiveness and creativeness rule and you can be absolutely sure that you can never go wrong.

Most photographers dream of shooting commercial photography. Photographing attractive models in bikinis and attractive outfits for catalogues and calendars. While an select fortunate few in places such as LA and Miami have model shoots like that each day most photographers in other regions of the country are fortunate to get those sort of shoots once or twice a month if that. Unfortunately that is not paying the bills on a month to month basis.

That's why I’ve always continued to shoot industrial product photography. It may not be as glamorous as shooting models, but it habitually pays the bills. Commercial firms always need product photographers to shoot new industrial product designs. These photographs are needed for catalogues, brochures, slicks, trade show exhibits and web sites. The best part is that since they're always modifying these products, they are going to need you back again and again to re-shoot them.

These industrial companies do not need to be large even little and middle sized firms need product photography. Next time your out and traveling thru an industrial park look round at all of the tiny, medium and large business that you see. These businesses are producing new products and designs each day. Many of these corporations need you help, your talent and your talents as a photographer.

Over 90 percent of my shoots are on location. Which implies you won't even need a studio, talk of a cost savings. At industrialproductphotography.com I will show you what hardware you will need, how it's possible to get the shot and do the Photoshop work. I have been doing product photography since 1985, from film to digital and believe me digital is better. Just the cost and time savings will help you get things done faster and make much more money.

Become a high paying industrial product photographer, they are always in demand.

Stephen Spreadbury has been shooting industrial product photography since 1985. While I started off shooting film, there is nothing better then shooting digital and finishing in photoshop. I think there is not any larger market for the professional paparazzo then in the industrial product photography field.

Canon T3 Digital Camera Review

With Micro Four Thirds models and other mirrorless digital cameras growing in popularity, the digital SLR market has gotten some stiff competition. The category continues to push forward, though, and Canon, which has not yet manufactured a compact interchangeable lens camera, offers up the Canon T3 as its entry-level D-SLR contender. This 12-megapixel digital SLR is on the lower-end as far as price and features, but it has all of the options and flexibility an aspiring photographer might need to break out of the tedium of point-and-shoot and cell phone cameras.

Canon T3 Review
The Canon T3 uses SD/SDHC/SDXC cards for storage. Use the figures above to get a rough estimate of the size card you need. Of course, the JPG file format is significantly more storage-space-efficient and has various levels of image quality/compression that also adjust space requirements downward dramatically. My advice is to shoot RAW and buy lots of memory. Memory is cheap – buy enough to use for temporary archiving and backup.

While the Canon T3 may have one of the lowest resolution sensors of the current Canon DSLRs, it delivers some of the cleanest high ISO image quality. Following are a pair of 100% crop Canon EOS DSLR image quality comparisons: identical exposure, identical targets, identical lighting, identical framing and identical processing. These manually-exposed samples were shot from a Foba Gamma Studio Camera Stand-mounted Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L IS USM Lens set to 100mm and f/6.3. RAW images were captured with auto white balance, no noise reduction and the “Standard” Picture Style. Sharpness was set to “1″ (very low).

The Canon EOS Rebel T3 has a whole lot of shooting options under its belt, image quality is up there with the best the entry-level market has to offer throughout the ISO 100-6400 range and the autofocus system is of a similar calibre. The combination of the two is a great mix and this essentially makes the Canon T3 the best current entry-level DSLR that money can buy. A better kit lens would sort out some of the imaging qualms that we do have, but the Canon EF-S fit has a huge variety on offer to get yet more out of your camera in the future.

Use sunlight to its best effect by positioning yourself so that the subject is hit by the sun from the side. Also, the light tends to be ‘warmer’ in the early morning or late afternoon.
